Builders contribute to the momentum of the conference in many ways. Here’s a quick look at the different teams that make it all happen:
Tech & Media
From lighting and graphics to cameras and clean audio, this team makes MOMENTM look and sound amazing. Whether you’re behind the board or capturing content, you’re helping create an atmosphere where people can focus, engage, and encounter Truth.
Guest Experience
If you’re the first smile someone sees when they walk in—you’re already making a difference. This team helps with registration, hospitality, seating, and making every student feel seen, safe, and hyped to be here.
Set Crew
Before anyone walks in and after the doors close, this team is creating the environment—setting up spaces, staging rooms, placing signs, rearranging, and tearing down—making sure everything looks clean, intentional, and ready for what’s next.
WHAT IS A BUILDER?
At MOMENTM, we don’t use the word volunteer. We call our team Builders.
The word reflects the mission behind what we do. It’s rooted in Jude 1:20:
“But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith.”
Builders are people who have encountered the Truth of Jesus and now carry a calling for helping the next generation encounter His Truth. They build the momentum that leads students toward real transformation and freedom.
Our prayer is that Builders would see their part as discipleship in action — intentionally building a generation to know the Truth, who they are in Christ, and LIVE in the purpose He’s given them.
Requirements
+ Must have a recognized role in a student’s life (such as parent, guardian, pastor, teacher, or mentor).
+ Must be available for mandatory Builders Team Meeting on October 9th.
+ Travel, lodging, and personal expenses are the responsibility of each Builder.
+ Please note: Most Builder roles require the ability to stand or walk for 3–4 hours at a time while serving.
